Opossum Sack

1.) Cut 15" x 44" piece of outer fabric

2.) Fold outer fabric in half to make a 15" x 22" rectangle matching right sides together

3.) Sew along two edges, leaving open at top (like a pillow case), turn right side out

4.) Cut 15" x 48" piece of inner fabric

5.) Fold inner fabric in half to make a 15" x 24" rectangle, matching wrong sides together

6.) Sew along two edges, leaving open at top (like a inside-out pillow case)

7.) Slip inner fabric into outer fabric, there should be a 2" band of inner fabric extending beyond outer fabric at the top, turn down this 2" band of inner fabric onto the outer fabric, sew along the top of sack using a 1/2" seam allowance

8.) Sew around bottom edge of the band close to the edge

Recommended fabrics:  Inner - Fleece or padded fleece  /   Outer - Cotton or cotton blend
